It is drawn from your face, hair and expression. A clear, well-lit photo with your face unobstructed gives the closest result. AI output varies between photos, so use your free Drafts to see how it handles yours.
Your photo is deleted from our servers within 24 hours. It is sent to our AI provider, OpenAI, to produce your image, and they retain it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting it. We do not run facial recognition, we do not create a faceprint, and your photo is never used to train any model.
Every format renders at high resolution, sized for its shape: portrait for posters, vertical for wallpapers and cover art. Posters made with purchased credits have no watermark. Free Drafts are watermarked.

To generate, yes. You can browse templates, upload a photo and set everything up without one, and sign in when you press Generate. New accounts get 2 free Draft posters, watermarked, to try the style; they expire after 7 days. Standard and Max use purchased credits, which never expire.
